Fantastic meal here! Found this place when on the hunt for some pasta and so glad we did! All dishes were perfectly cooked, super tasty and really fresh. The pork filled pasta was so good! Lovely friendly attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit!
We’ve been visiting Fuengirola for over 15 years now, and somehow we’d never come across this place before. Honestly, I’m not sure how Arte y Cocina isn’t already in the Michelin guide. It really deserves to be. From the moment we walked in, everything just felt right. The team was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special. To start, we shared the burrata and the tuna tartare. Both dishes were packed with flavour, but still delicate. The tuna tartare was a real standout, served with charred avocado and pomegranate. It was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Just an incredible mix of freshness, depth, and balance. For our mains, we went with two pastas: one with summer truffle, and the other with red prawn and squid ink. We’d been to the Amalfi Coast last year and had some amazing pasta there, so expectations were high - but somehow, this was even better. The squid ink pasta was super light, the sauce had a deep seafood richness to it, and the prawn tartare on top added a fresh, sweet kick that brought it all together beautifully. After that, we tried the Koji beef fillet. Honestly, it just melted in the mouth. So tender and full of flavour. Every bite was a treat. I couldn’t help myself and ended up ordering one more plate as everthing was so tasty, another starter - the steak tartare. It came with an egg yolk custard that was rich and creamy and just worked perfectly with the meat. Every dish we tried felt really well thought out and clearly made with care. We finished with a Baileys tiramisu that was light, boozy, and had great texture from the biscuit layers. The perfect end to the meal. We drank a rosé Prosecco with dinner, and the service throughout was spot on. It honestly felt like we were being looked after by our own private chef and host. This was one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. If you’re into food and visiting Fuengirola, do yourself a favour and book a table here. I’ll be thinking about that squid ink pasta until we’re back. Thanks again for a fantastic evening
This place is amazing. My partner and myself had the beef tenderloin steak and it was the best steak we have ever had in our lives. The service was great, so polite and quick. Honestly, just try it. You won’t regret it. Don’t listen to the sad people complaining about the portion sizes and the price, you are paying for 5 star food and service. You want to eat until you burst, then go to a cheap buffet! The portion sizes were light and refreshing.
Would highly recommend for a memorable meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, light and airy with beautiful art around. Service was attentive and friendly. The pacing of the meal was great and we enjoyed every dish we had. The artichoke flower was a highlight. They were incredibly generous with the portion of truffle on their pasta. The composition of all the dishes were both visually beautiful and well balanced in flavour. We got the miso cheesecake for dessert paired with some of the local dessert wines which were new to us and we throughly enjoyed. If you want a really quality meal and to avoid the tourist traps, this is the place to go. Great value for a wonderful meal.
Top restaurant. Really enjoyed our meal and the service was exceptional. The sausage Ragu and pork and beef tortellini were some of the best pasta we have had. Additionally a great baileys tiramisu to finish. Would highly recommend
We had a delightful evening at Arte Y Cocina I in Fuengirola. The food was fantastic from start to finish. For starters, we had the burrata and artichoke heart paired with sourdough bread—everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Our main courses were delicious pasta dishes that were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The service was efficient, and there was no waiting time at all, which added to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian food in Fuengirola. We'll definitely be back!
Some of the finest food I've eaten, and I've travelled the planet extensively. The owner was a lovely woman with impeccable service and so passionate about her amazing food. I couldn't fault it in any way. Beautiful decor, great wine list and perfect atmosphere. If you don't go here, you've missed out. It really is that good.
